Rebecca Lehman
Social Impact Program Manager, DroneDeploy

Rebecca finds innovative ways to leverage technology in addressing social and environmental problems. At DroneDeploy she manages both the nonprofit and education programs. She works with nonprofits and social impact organizations to enable the power of mapping and new technology to reach those who need it most. She has a master's degree in Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment.

Charles Kamba
Namibia Flying Labs Coordinator and Drone Pilot, Flying Labs

Charles M. Kamba has a background in Civil and Water Engineering, with particular interest in pre-planning, project management, undertaking feasibility and Master Plan studies, as well as requisition and procurement. Mr. Kamba co-owns Kanie Supply and Distribution Chain and is a certified Remote Pilot/Instructor who is proficient in GIS, as well as data handling, processing, analysis and interpretation. As a Coordinator and Accountable Manager at Flying Labs Namibia, Charles is in charge of administering and spearheading projects and training, as well as promulgating organisational policies.

Leka Tingitana
Director, Flying Labs

Leka’s background is in technology transfer and social welfare. He is a certified Drone Pilot and Instructor with a keen interest in geospatial data and visualization. Leka is a Tanzanian Digital Change Maker with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston and an MBA from the International University in Geneva.

Virginie Uwimana
Coordinator and Public Relations Officer, Flying Labs

Virginie Uwimana is a licensed Remote Pilot, co-owner of Kanie Supply and Distribution Chain and co-founder of Flying Labs Namibia. Virginie holds a B.Eng degree in Civil Engineering from the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and is currently working towards her Master’s degree in Structural Engineering at the same institution. She has experience in Environmental Engineering and has formerly worked as a part-time lecturer at NUST. She is a strong advocate for breaking the stigma around drone technology and is passionate about exploring how robotics can be used to improve the lives of each African.

Klaudyna Wrochna
Drone & Data Insights and Technology, WeRobotics

Klaudyna is an experienced and passionate drone pilot. Her background in surveying and mapping led her to becoming a GIS, photogrammetry and remote sensing specialist, including the use of drones for her work. Prior to joining WeRobotics she worked at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) where she thoroughly mapped every centimetre of the laboratory’s land. Her professional career has always been closely related to drones. Working or studying in 5 different countries – Poland, Norway, England, France and Switzerland, allowed her to gain a multinational experience. Klaudyna’s biggest hobby is flying drones for fun as an FPV pilot.
